The Grundfos Comfort B PM and BX PM pumps are designed for recirculation of domestic hot water in single-family and two-family houses securing hot water instantly to all faucets. The pumps have a corrosion-resistant pump housing suitable for drinking water and are powered by a single-phase, high-efficiency ECM with permanent-magnet rotor. COMFORT B PM and BX PM meet homeowner requirements for continuous operation. COMFORT BX PM has a built-in isolating valve and a non-return valve (fitting). This ensures that maintenance can be carried out without draining the system. The non-return valve also prevents reversed flow during operation. designed for:

The Grundfos COMFORT PM range sets new standards for energy-efficient hot water recirculation in domestic homes. Thanks to a low noise permanent magnet motor, energy consumption is reduced to as little as 5 to 8 Watts, while the superior AUTOADAPT function found on the BA PM model, ensures that the pump runs only when required, which minimises both heat and power waste. The result is maximum comfort with a minimum of water, heat and electricity consumption.

The pump is suitable for open and closed systems however, it must be installed indoors and should only be fitted into pressurised hot water circulation systems.

WARRANTY

All Grundfos products come with a 2-year warranty that fully complies with legal requirements.

The warranty covers product and material defects which are not the results of normal wear and tear for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery. The warranty period may not, however, exceed 30 months from the date of production.

Warranty claims will be rejected in the following situations:

If the defect in the product arises from:

• any drawing, design or specification supplied by the customer/purchaser
• modifications undertaken by the customer/purchaser or a third party without the consent of Grundfos

If a defect is caused by:

• normal wear and tear
• inadequate maintenance or faulty repair by others than Grundfos
• failure to observe the operating instructions
• over-loading
• use of any unsuitable material
• the effects of chemical or electrolytic action
• building or assembly work not undertaken by Grundfos
• other reasons beyond Grundfos’ control.

As a general rule, Grundfos will not accept to pay transportation/replacement/installation costs for faulty products.
